Book-ish will be celebrating the much anticipated publication of ‘The Testaments’ by Margaret Atwood with an evening event and Old Skool midnight opening. They will be starting at 8pm with a talk by Avril Horner at the Parish Hall, followed by sharing platters and wine and book chat at Book-ish. They will host a Margaret Atwood quiz and then celebrate the publication launch at midnight! Tickets include a copy of The Testaments, entry to the talk, a sharing platter and a glass of wine at Book-ish, and they also offer the chance to pre-order a copy of the book and get a glass of wine from 11pm for just the price of the book.

This is a Banned Books Week event in partnership with the British Library, Booksellers Association, English PEN, Free Word, Hachette UK, Index on Censorship, Islington Council’s Library and Heritage Service, Libraries Connected, The Publishers Association and The Royal Society of Literature.
