What?
Fight censorship and declare your fREADom to read by joining the #BannedBooksWeek censored summer reads campaign. Find out more about Banned Books Week and what we mean by ‘banned’ in our About Us section.

When?
This July and August we’re encouraging everyone to read at least one book that has been censored, challenged or banned and vote on their favourite book.

We want to hear from YOU
Each week between 18 July and 04 September we will suggest five banned books for you to vote on – or you can send us a suggestion (one entry per person). We will publish the results of the public’s favourite censored summer read ahead of Banned Books Week which takes place 23 – 29 September.
